- Name: Tina a.k.a. "hopeless foodie"
- Why "hopeless foodie"? 'Cause I'm hopelessly devoted to food? Heh. Nahh...the name just seemed to fit so I went with it! "Hopeless Foodie? Yeah, that'll work." :)
- Why start this blog? This blog actually was born as a result of my Twitter account of the same name. I decided to get a separate Twitter account just so I wouldn't bore my personal friends/family with my food talk. In September of 2009, I decided to start blogging as a means of sharing recipes and as an outlet to talk about something that I love. I had no idea what I was getting into at the time, but so far it has been a lot of fun!
- Food faves? Cheeseburgers and sushi are at the top of my list. I have been known to travel long distances for a good cheeseburger, and I lurve uni. I also love a thick, juicy Porterhouse steak.
- Foods I loathe? Brussels Sprouts, scrapple, liverwurst, and hominy in all forms (especially grits-blech).
- Guilty pleasures? Fried chicken, mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers, a sloppy, greasy cheesy bacon burger, homemade mac n cheese, a platter full of fried seafood, a humongous juicy medium-rare Porterhouse steak covered with sizzling melted butter, an In n Out Double Double with animal style fries, a croque monsieur, banana cream pie, a 7-Eleven Slurpee, The Real Housewives of OC, NYC, Atlanta and Jersey.
